The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport 16.4 has an open top that comes with a classic detachable roof that opens up and divides into two halves. True to expectations of Bugatti lovers, the Bugatti Veyron with an open top was unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concourse in 2008 on 16th August.

The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport 16.4 participated for the first time in the Qatar Motor Show in 2009. Despite being an older version, the motor show was a perfect occasion and provided the perfect backdrop to demonstrate the new profile of the car and to baptize its debut appearance. The model of Bugatti Veyron has reinforcements to make up for the absence of standard roof.  The top speed with the roof down is 369km/ph and upto 131km/h with the soft roof.  The Bugatti Veyron takes its name from the French race driver Pierre Veyron.

The tag 16.4 means there are 16 cylinders and four turbochargers. The Bugatti Veyron has an 8-liter turbo charged engine. There are four valves in each cylinder and there are 64 valves in total. The engine has four turbo chargers to feed it. The transmission consists of a direct shift gear box with a dual clutch.
